PROJECTS PORTFOLIO
McGill Room
12x8' acrylic mural designed to evoke feelings of peace and calmness for the McGill Education Cohort of students at Listuguj Education Training and Employment building.

Bear Painting
Progress of a large canvas painting for the Listuguj Education, Training and Employment organization in Listuguj.

Worn Inward hosts a collection of multimedia practices including photography, painting and embroidery, shedding layers of self-preservation in celebrating ongoing survivance.
My piece was inspiring by the style of artist Jordan Bennett. The Eight Point Star in the centre of my painting is based on an actual Mi'gmaw petroglyph found in the Bedford Barrons in the 1980's. It is symbolic for naguset (the sun) and tells a story of an Eight District added to the original Seven Districts of Mi'gma'gi.

Haven House Playroom
This playful design was created for the Listuguj Mawo'ltijig Mijuaji'g (Child Care Centre) to capture children and caregivers attention about the Seven Sacred Teachings.

Campbellton Detox Centre
In this collaborative project with Loretta Gould, Shianne Gould, and Robert Pictou, I created, and painted the medicine wheel design on a 21 foot circumference for one of the centre's gathering rooms.

My design is a reflection of love, resilience and strength for our children. The design has an eagle (feather style) that protects the children who are grasping onto fallen feathers but also symbolizes falling leaves on a tree that is in the centre point of the design. Children in residential schools have grown with strength - and this is the resilient story that the design tells. Every Child is a warrior. Every child matters.
